Board Air China transpacific flight from Vancouver. Cross the International Dateline. Enjoy your in- flight entertainment.
　
                                  DAY02 BEIJING
Arrive Beijing in the afternoon. Welcome to the capital of China. Your national guide will meet you at the airport and transfer you to 4-star Xinqiao Hotel with prime downtown location. (D)
　
                                  DAY03 BEIJING
Today you will tour the Forbidden City, the imperial palace where you will marvel at its magnitude and grandeur. More than two dozen emperors of two dynasties used to live in this huge palace for over 500 years till early twentieth century. The beautiful Summer Palace and Tian An Men Square are also on today's agenda. A Peking Opera performance is scheduled after dinner. (B/L/D)
　
                                 DAY04 BEIJING
Your dream will come true when you walk on the mighty Great Wall today. At Badaling, 50 miles north of Beijing, the Great Wall you are seeing is 7.8 meters in height and 5.8 meters in width. The wall stretches across China for about 4,000 miles. In the afternoon, you will visit the Ming Tombs tucked away in rolling hills. A Peking Duck dinner is planned. (B/L/D)
　
                                 DAY05 BEIJING - XIAN
Fly on to Xian via China domestic airlines. Arrive Xian in the afternoon and transfer to 4-star Garden Hotel. Tour ancient City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. (B/L/D)
　
                                 DAY06 XIAN
Full day tour of the Terra Cotta Warriors Museum, the Huaqing Hot Springs and the Bangpo Neolithic Commune Museum. Enjoy a Tang Dynasty Singing and Dancing Show after dinner. (B/L/D)
　
                                 DAY07 XIAN - HANGZHOU
Depart via WH2555 at 09:15, arrive at 11:05 and transfer to 4-star Wanghu Hotel. Visit Lingyin Temple in the afternoon. (B/L/D)
　
                                  DAY08 HANGZHOU
The beautiful West Lake has been the subject of Chinese painters since the 6th century. A cruise on the lake is a must for tourists far and near. However, Hangzhou's natural beauty extends beyond the lake. You will also visit the Six-Harmony Tower and the famous Long Jing Tea Plantation. (B/L/D)
　
                                  DAY09 HANGZHOU - SUZHOU
Take a scenic train ride (3 hours) through the rice paddies for Suzhou. Visit Lingering Garden and Pan Gate. Overnight at 4-star Suzhou Hotel. (B/L/D)
　
                                  DAY10 SUZHOU - SHANGHAI
Tour Tiger Hill, Fish Net Master's Garden, a silk factory and the Embroidery Institute. Depart via Train Y203 at 15:12, arrive at 16:37 and transfer to 4-star Ocean Hotel. (B/L/D)
　
                                  DAY11 SHANGHAI
Your tour today will take you to the Jade Buddha Temple and Yu Yuan Garden. You will also explore the Bund, Children's Palace and Nanking Road. An acrobatic show is arranged after dinner. (B/L/D)
　
                                 DAY12 SHANGHAI - HOME CITY
Transfer to airport. Depart Shanghai in the afternoon. Arrive Vancouver in the morning of the same day. Make your connection flight homeward. (B)
